**First, I have to say congratulations to Chuck Greenberg and Nolan Ryan for becoming the new owners of the Texas Rangers. It was a tough battle, but thanks for hanging in there. Rangers fans are looking forward to good thing to come from y'all!! :)**
I now return you to your regular scheduled Thursday post already in progress.
My first Thursday Thirteen back in March was iPod Confessions: 13 "Guilty Pleasure" Songs on My iPod (click here to read those). I thought I would continue that theme today.
So I give you, "iPod Confessions Part Deux: 13 Songs My Friends Won't Believe I Have On My iPod". (click on name to see music video). And for the record, 75% of the songs on my iPod are country music, so songs on this list might surprise a few! ;)
13. Everything I Do, I Do It For You by Bryan Adams
This song brings back memories of seeing Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves when I was in 7th grade! I still **heart Christian Slater**! For those who don't remember, yes, he was in that movie! :)
12. Never Gonna Let You Go by Sergio Mendes
Does anyone else even remember this song?
11. Under My Umbrella by Rihanna
Someone used this song in a Youtube video that featured Rangers players enjoying a rain delay. Of course I use this one! :)
10. Conga by Gloria Estefan
You know you are going to start dancing once you hear the song!! It's okay, you won't be judged! :)
9. November Rain by Guns 'N Roses
I just caused most of my friends to pass out by listing a Guns 'N Roses song!! :)
8. Yeah by Usher
I got my white girl groove going on... ;)
7. Low by Flo Rida
Words can't describe my white girl dancing to this song! It's not pretty that's all I have to say! :)
6. Here I Go Again by Whitesnake
Ah, gotta love the 80's. Check out that hair!
5. To Sir With Love by Lulu
The title song from the 1967 movie To Sir With Love starring Sidney Poitier. It's actually a good movie!
4. Don't Stop Believing by Journey
You know you like this song, don't lie! I also have the song Open Arms. I'll count all Journey songs as one!
3. You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC
You know this song will be stuck in your head now!
2. Hey Ya by Outkast
This is actually a ring tone on my phone too! :)
1. Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus
You knew I had to work one country song into this list. Even if you don't like country music, I'm sure you've heard this one at least once. And it was back when Billy Ray Cyrus wasn't known as "Hannah Montana's dad". I dare you to watch the video. The mullet is downright scary. So is his dancing. And the clothes.
My Thirsty Thursday today is going to be a Chick Fil-A milkshake (in celebration of Chuck and Nolan getting the Rangers). Have a great day friends!! :)
This is a great list! I love all these songs and most of them are on my ipod too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday Thirteen!
I love these hits....I'm singing them now:) I'm picking up from my crave for pepsi last week-finally went and bought a pack this week-
ReplyDeletedoes that milkshake bring all the boys to the yard....hahaha...have a good one babe:)
I love Sergio Mendes especially the song in #12. One of my favorite songs to sing in karaoke.
ReplyDeleteHave you heard Susanna Hoff's version of To Sir With Love? It's a very nice cover.
You are a brave woman admitting to some of these but I'm afraid I would have to make the same admissions. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Happy Thursday 13!
Surprisingly, I really like a lot of Guns and Roses stuff.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thursday!

Great list - some of these are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteMan, I didn't know Bryan Adams was a guilty pleasure. He's one of my all-time faves! ;)
ReplyDeleteI *love* Hey-Ya! There are a lot of great songs on this list. I approve!
LOL Achy Breaky Heart reminds me of when I lived in Japan and had a karaoke off with friends...they knew I hated country and were amazing I could sing it so well LOL!
ReplyDeleteI can go for almost all of those except for the Billy Ray Cyrus... even though it's catchy it annoys me. But I say whatever you want to listen to, go for it. No such thing as a guilty pleasure!
ReplyDeleteYou have now made me thirsty... or is it hungry?... for a milkshake. Must have!
Good tunes, but I like the milkshake most of all. Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteRachel,
ReplyDeleteNot only do i know/remember all of those songs, I am dacing to each one! So glad you were able to fulfill your TT with a milkshake. For me it was Sonic! Nothing like a Strawberry limeade to make the day better!
Great list and a lot of them are on my iPod as well. Admittedly no Billy Ray Cyrus!
