What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving...

My Sunday School class. I've mentioned them before on here, but I love this group. They welcomed me with open arms when I asked if I could stay in their class (after visiting a few times). Don't be fooled- they keep me on my toes!! They are a wild bunch and I love them dearly! We had our Christmas party last Saturday night- we had a blast!

They loved the photo frame I made for our Fall Festival so much I made one for our Christmas party. :)

I'm loving...

This drink. I received one after I ran (walked) the 5K a few weeks ago. I'm now obsessed with them. They have different flavors, the pomegranate is good but mango might be my favorite. I love that it is low in calories and sugar.

I'm loving...

That I won a prize at my department Christmas party last week. I won a Fujifilm Instax camera- which is a newer version of a Polaroid camera. I also received a case and two rolls of film with it. It's a good thing it came with film- it cost $20 a roll. EEK! I obviously will only use it on special occasions.

I'm loving...

That my nephew Peter graduated from my alma mater last weekend. He is the 7th member of my family to graduate from there. I'm so proud of him!

I'm loving...

That this little guy was my date at Six Flags last weekend. He obviously was not impressed with Snapchat filters. Lol.

Thanks to his parents for giving me permission to use his photo on my blog!
I also had fun with the group of friends who came along with us to Six Flags- we had a blast. I love hanging out with these ladies!

I'm loving...

Psych-The Movie. I loved the TV show Psych so I was super excited earlier this year when they announced there would be a movie coming out (it went off the air in 2014). I had never been so excited for a TV movie before. Lol. Shawn and Gus didn't disappoint!

I'm loving...

My newest Christmas ornament. A friend of mine found this on Etsy so of course I had to order one. I ended up getting the last one too! The seller doesn't have any more for this season.

I'm loving...

This shirt- if someone can put in a good word for me with Santa, I would appreciate it. Tell him I wear a size medium. Please and thank you.

Because I’m horrible about mailing Christmas cards and updating my blog on a regular basis, I’m gonna post this now: Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah. Season’s Greetings. Happy Holidays. Whatever you celebrate, I wish you all the best. I wish you a happy and healthy 2018. I hope you can always find something good and positive in life, no matter what the world tries to throw at you. I hope you know I’m always here to support you, pray for you, or just be an ear to vent to. Thank you all for being a part of my life, whether in person or just online. Thank you for putting up with my random posts, my countless photos, my obsession with Whataburger, Dr Pepper, baseball, and Dick Van Dyke. Y’all make my life so much better and I can’t imagine my life without y’all in it!

XOXO!

It's OK...

It's OK...

...that I was very sad to see Psych end last night. I LOVE that show. I will say that it was one of the better series finales that I've seen in a while.

...that I was excited that my tweet made the Psych After Show. I feel all sorts of famous knowing my tweet was seen on national television. :)

...that thanks to my friend Aaron, I'm now addicted to the game 2048. You can play it online or on your phone. (click picture to play game)

...that I'm looking forward to my big sister visiting me this weekend. I can't promise we won't need bail money at some point. :)

...that I got so frustrated with negative comments on my Facebook page (whether they were meant as a joke or not), that I finally snapped at a friend. It was bound to happen. I'm okay now.

...that I'm really glad I have a four day weekend, even though I'm going to be crazy busy the whole time.

XOXO!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving...

That in less than 48 hours I will have the keys to my new apartment. My "big move" is on Saturday, but I plan to take a couple car loads of smaller items over on Friday afternoon/evening. For all my local, strong guy friends (and strong female friends), if you are free on Saturday, I still need help moving the heavy furniture (insert sweet smile here).

I'm loving...

That I get to see my favorite couple from North Carolina TOMORROW!!! Katie and Donny are flying in to see me. Okay, they aren't JUST flying in to see ME, but next to Taco Cabana, I know Katie is looking forward to seeing me the most! ;)
Love these two!
Katie looked so freaking gorgeous in her wedding dress, I had to post another pic! :)
I'm loving...

That my buddy Brian FINALLY did a video wearing the burnt orange shirt I forced him to buy convinced him to buy when he visited Texas last year. I told him he needed to expand from wearing black, gray, and white shirts all the time. :)

I'm loving...

That I'm seeing baseball tweets in my Twitter timeline again. Granted, it's about an inner-squad spring training game, but it's still baseball! 39 days until Opening Day!!

I'm loving...

That my Twitter timeline exploded when my name and Twitter handle were mentioned on The Ticket yesterday (that's a sports radio station here in Dallas). I also got some texts from a few friends who were listening. Evidently The Ticket was dissecting the questions that were asked to Craig Gentry on Twitter last week. What? A girl can't ask a MLB player for his number without people getting all crazy?? :) BTW, I was totally kidding when I sent Anthony Andro that question, I can't believe he really asked it. Bummer it didn't work though! ;)

I'm loving...

That we are one week away from the season premieres of Duck Dynasty and Psych. :) Since they are both on at the same time, I'm SO thankful for a DVR!!

It's Friday!

Boob Tube Babble

I've mentioned before that I love the show Psych. At the end of most episodes, they have what is called a "Psych-Out" (which is either a blooper reel from the episode or some random funny moment- sometimes it involves the cast singing). For the link up today, I thought I would post some of my favorite"Psych-Outs" from the show. Enjoy! :)

These aren't Psych-Outs, but they are still pretty funny promos! :)

Happy weekend!

XOXO!

It's OK!

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK...

...to have watched all six seasons of Bones within a week period (and the first five episodes of season 7 that have already aired). I'm now caught up and ready for a new episode tonight. For the record, if you watch THAT much of one show in a short amount of time, you will have weird dreams about it. I'm just saying...

...to have cried at the episode of Bones where they killed off one of the main characters. I may or may not have been at my desk at work, watching it on my phone's Netflix app, when that happened.

...to be excited that you got seasons 6 and 7 of The Waltons for only $10. Yes, I'm a nerd. Moving on...

...to think the only time it's acceptable to be really cold outside is if it includes ice, snow and work closures.

...to not be able to get through Brad Paisley's song "Letter to Me" without tearing up.

...to be a little depressed when you realize that this fall it will have been 20 years since you started high school.

...to watch Psych so much that you feel the need to point out pineapples whenever you see them.
It's a running joke that in every episode of Psych, there is some form of a pineapple.
Photo Challenge Day 12: Close-Up

I know, scary-looking, but this is the only one I have on this computer. I miss my long hair!

XOXO!! We are almost to the weekend!! Hang in there! :)

It's OK...

It's been a while since I've participated in It's OK Thursday with Neely and Amber, so here I go!

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK...

...that the only thing I had for lunch today was a Chick Fil-A milkshake (courtesy of a sweet co-worker who bought it for me. He knew I was having a rough day.)

...to avoid talking about the issue at Penn State because it disgusts, angers and upsets me.

...that I owe my friend Brian a steak because the Cardinals beat the Rangers in the World Series (he still has to come to Texas to get the steak though- that was the deal!) I have learned my lesson- God doesn't want me to gamble!

...that the Rangers didn't win the World Series. I'm okay (seriously, I am, thanks for being concerned though). I'm not a bandwagon fan. I've loved them too long. Third times the charm next year, right? :)

...to be amused when two celebrities that I follow on Twitter are tweeting each other.

...to be excited that the new Muppets movie is coming out in two weeks! (Yes, I will be seeing it!)

...to totally support the campaign to have the Muppets host the Oscars (I would actually watch the Oscars if they did).

...to have my neighbor save his empty beer bottles so I can use them for craft ideas I found on Pinterest.

...to be bummed that Teen Nick only aired a week's worth of Are You Afraid of the Dark reruns.

...to be really tempted to buy Joey McIntyre's Christmas CD.

...that this is quite possibly my favorite Psych-Out from Psych.

...that my post yesterday was very silly, but I still had fun writing it!

What's OK with you today??

XOXO!!

Happy Friday!!

Boob Tube Babble

Since I mentioned yesterday about having season premieres marked down in my day planner (yes, I realize I'm pathetic), I thought for Boob Tube Babble today I would post my weekly line up of TV shows that I plan to watch this season. This is brought to you today by the letters D V and R and the number 4 (meaning I can record up to four things at once on my DVR). If it wasn't for a DVR, there is NO way I could watch all of these. There are some shows I get about a month behind on watching because I don't have time. I guess that's a good thing- it shows I have somewhat of a life. It also means that sometimes TV shows take a backseat to sports. And so far I don't plan on checking out any of the new shows. I have too many to keep up with right now. Anyways, I'm rambling. So, here is my lineup!! **All times are CST**

Sunday:

Sunday football. Starts this Sunday at noon.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (for when I need a good cry). Season premiere Sept. 25 at 6pm on ABC.

CSI: Miami (I read a spoiler regarding Delko and Caleigh for this season- I'm excited!) ;) Season premiere Sept. 25 at 9pm on CBS.

Monday:

It looks like Mondays this year will be my "catch up" day (unless the Monday Night Football game is one I care about). I don't have any shows on Monday nights this season!

Tuesday:

NCIS. Season premiere Sept. 20 at 7pm on CBS.

NCIS: Los Angeles. Season premiere Sept. 20 at 8pm on CBS.

Wednesday

Criminal Minds (JJ is back this season!) Season premiere Sept. 21 at 8pm.

CSI has moved to WEDNESDAY! (Side note: Ted Danson is taking over for Laurence Fishburne, who has left the show). Season premiere Sept. 21 at 9pm on CBS.

Psych (so thankful I can record more than one show at once. Psych is on at the same time as CSI this year.) Season premiere Oct. 12 at 9pm on USA.

Thursday:

The Big Bang Theory (I can't wait to see what they do with this whole Raj/Penny situation from the finale last season!) :) Season premiere Sept. 22 at 7pm on CBS.

The Mentalist. Season premiere Sept. 22 at 9pm on CBS.

Friday:

CSI: NY. (I'm so glad this one is returning. I really like Gary Sinise!)

Saturday:
Another off day for me TV show wise. :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I promise a full review of The Sunshine Boys with Dick Van Dyke and his brother Jerry sometime next week!!

Have a great weekend!

XOXO!
