What I'm Loving Wednesday....

I'm loving...
that I got to spend time with my family recently. My nephew James (he's 23) got married last month, and all of my siblings were there. The six of us are rarely all together, so it was nice to be able to spend some time with all of them.
My mom with her girls
My folks with their whole crew
Aunt Rachel with the handsome groom
Me and my sweet nephew A
Me with my lovely nieces Stephanie and Alice
I got to sit next to the best looking groomsman in the wedding party (my nephew Jake)
My niece Katie was the prettiest bridesmaid!
I'm loving...
that my niece Lydia has decided to start a blog. Please check out her page here! :)

Me and my beautiful niece Lydia!
I'm loving...
that they have made a movie about the making of Mary Poppins. For those who are new to my blog, that is my favorite movie of all time (Dick Van Dyke is my favorite actor). I like Tom Hanks, so I'm hoping I'm not disappointed with it. Actor Kristopher Kyer better not mess up the role of Dick Van Dyke (or he will face my wrath) :)

I'm loving...
these pins from Pinterest.

I'm loving...
that my sister and I both can watch Christmas movies all year round.

I'm loving...
my Duck Dynasty "Uncle Si" tea glass. Thanks to my friend Lyn for getting it for me!

What are you loving today??

XOXO!

Wednesday Ramblings...

I was going to do my typical What I'm Loving Wednesday, but I just couldn't get motivated to do so (not that I'm not loving anything right now, but I just wasn't feeling it today). I almost went on a rant about bullying (especially cyber bullying), but I needed more time to put my thoughts down on paper, errr, the webpage (be prepared, that rant might happen tomorrow or Friday).

A long time ago, I used to do Wednesday Ramblings. I loved them because I would just post whatever, it didn't have to have a "theme" and I could jump around from topic to topic. I thought that fit my mood for today so here I go.

I'm so out of it that I keep forgetting it's Wednesday. I told myself I could do a Twitter Tuesday post then went, wait, it's Wednesday. I've been so tired this week. I blame part of it on the fact the Rangers are playing on the West Coast, so games don't start until 9pm Texas time. I'm not as young as I used to be (sadly). It's hard to survive on little sleep. Although I'll admit I fell asleep before the game ended last night- the melatonin I took kicked in early.

So, I'm really in need of a vacation from work (don't get me wrong, I love my job, I just need a little break). I mean, I'm going to Boston in just over a month to see my friend Jodi (and I CAN'T WAIT for that trip), but I think I almost want a "stay-cation" at some point. You know, the kind where I can just stay home and take care of all the things I keep telling myself I'm going to do. Like work on my scrapbooks. I still haven't done my Atlanta scrapbook. I took that trip THREE YEARS AGO!! I also need to work on my Spring Training scrapbook from last year and my trip to Memphis from last fall. I'm so lazy when it comes to working on those. Also, a stay-cation would allow me to just rest and not worry about being anywhere or doing anything specific. I need to look into that!

I wanted to post a picture of Chipper Jones here and wish him a happy birthday, but Blogger is freaking out on me and won't let me upload pictures (the one below I uploaded earlier because I was originally going to start my post with the Blog Challenge). I don't know what the deal is. Anyways, happy birthday Chipper, I'll post pictures of you another day! :)

I'm excited and a little sad that the season finale of Duck Dynasty is tonight. It seems like the season just started (why are the seasons of cable TV shows so short?) Anyways, I'll be watching tonight for sure!

I'm sure I could ramble on about other things, but I honestly, just don't feel like it (we all get in funks, right??) Hope everyone has a great day!
Blog Challenge Update:

Day 24: A photo of you from 2007
This is a picture of me when I went to New York in 2007. It's me having breakfast at Tiffany's (get it??) :)

XOXO!

It's OK Thursday and My Sweet 16 Picks

It's OK...

...that I woke up at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep (I should be used to it by now).

...that I don't want to work today. Since we are closed tomorrow for Good Friday, a lot of people took today off, so I'm hoping it's a pretty quiet, uneventful day.

...that I was a little bummed we only had ONE new episode of Duck Dynasty last night instead of our normal two.

...that I am impatiently patiently waiting until 7:05pm CST on Sunday night!!
...that I'm about to bombard you with a bunch of baseball pins from Pinterest!

...that I'm so bad about mailing things. I've had something for sweet Miss E in Canada for almost a month and I keep forgetting to send it. I PROMISE to mail it this weekend!! :)

March Madness Update

This keeps getting more difficult each round deciding which guy to eliminate (I think I'm putting too much thought into it!) :) Anyways, we are down to the Sweet 16. I'll try and have my Elite 8 up on Monday!

I know a certain person is going to be very upset with the elimination of Ian Somerhalder. He was no match for Jensen though, sorry! :)
I hated to get rid of Mark-Paul Gosselaar (I'll always be Team Zack).
Let's be honest, are you SURPRISED that three out of the four remaining athletes are baseball players? :)
God bless country music, that is all I have to say! :)
I will do my best to post tomorrow from my folks house! If I don't get a chance to, I hope everyone has a great weekend and a blessed Easter!

XOXO!!

It's OK...

It's OK...

...that I have possibly been watching Dawson's Creek on Netflix (don't judge). My college roommate and I used to watch this show when it was on originally (back on the good ol' WB). Oh, the teen angst in this show makes it almost unbearable to watch, yet, I'm starting on season 3.

...that I'm a little bothered that due to copyright laws, the intro to the show on Netflix isn't the same as the original. I don't know what this bothers me, but it's just not the same.

Original theme song, "I Don't Wanna Wait"

Netflix intro, "Run Like Mad"

...that I've wasted space on my blog talking about Dawson's Creek.

...that my first thought when I see an ambulance outside my office is "Are the paramedics cute?" Oh, for the record, one of them was kinda cute- he walked by my office area as they were arriving. And for those wondering, the person they were called to check on is doing fine now. :)

...that Miss Kay was possibly my favorite character on the episode of Duck Dynasty last night. She cracks me up!

...that someone got my nephew C a Duck Commander shirt to wear on Duck Dynasty night!
I'll use any excuse to put a picture of one of my sweet boys on here! :)
...that I've had Luke Bryan's new CD on repeat in my car since I bought it yesterday. :)

I think the picture says it all. :) 24 days until Opening Day!
...to randomly put a picture of Craig Gentry on my blog (thank you Chance for texting it to me!)

...that I'm taking tomorrow off work to wait on Time Warner Cable (they installed the wrong DVR so they are coming back to replace it with the correct one). This might count as a strike against them, BUT, they did admit it was their mistake and (obviously) are not charging me for the visit. Hopefully I will use this time off to actually unpack and not sit on my butt watching Netflix (like I did last weekend). I've had a case of laziness lately. One of these days I'll get my apartment unpacked and decorated (and yes, I will post pictures).

...that I'm proud of myself for getting up early every day this week and working out (thank you Turbo Jam). I'm trying hard to get my workout done in the morning so I can keep my evenings free for all the dates I'm going on all the TV I have to watch. I live SUCH an exciting life, right?

What's OK with you today??

XOXO!

It's OK Thursday...

It's OK...

...that I haven't updated my blog this week. After my move last weekend, I have been so physically and mentally exhausted, that updating my blog has been a low priority. I do have WIFI at my new apartment now (can I get an amen) so I should get back to updating it on a more regular basis!

...that I still have a lot of crap junk stuff to unpack at my new apartment. Right now it's a maze of boxes to get through it. I promise to post pictures once it's all set up.

...that I had an inconsolable little emotional breakdown when moving out of my old apartment last Saturday (thanks to Chance for letting me cry on his shoulder- a Chance hug makes it all better). :) If you are new to my blog, click here to see why I had to move. I think it all just caught up with me. Also, if you have ever had to move in a short amount of time, you know how stressful that can be. A BIG THANKS to everyone who helped me move. I had people that had to back out at the last minute, so there weren't as many people available as I originally thought, but thanks to those who did show up (and who stepped in last minute). We got it done though, I have the BEST friends EVER! I'll post more gory details about my move next week.
Pictures of my old apartment, I took them as we were finally leaving late Saturday night.
My sweet friend Chance who drove probably over 100 miles (round trip) from his house to help me move. He made that trip both Saturday AND Sunday. I kept telling him he was awesome! :)
...that my family and I might have a slight obsession with Duck Dynasty. :)
My sister texted me this picture of my brother-in-law and nephew waiting for the show to start last night.

My great-nephew Christian made his own duck call!
I may or may not have made a Si mask for the premiere.
...that I found this in the back of my closet as I was packing up my clothes.
Oh yes, my letter jacket from high school. No, I didn't try it on to see if it still fits (I didn't want to depress myself if it was too tight).

....that this made me laugh so hard I almost fell out of my chair.
If you know me personally, you'll know why I find this so funny.
...that I'm a week behind with my February Photo Challenge. Seeing that this is the last day of February, I'll post the remaining pictures here.

Day 22: Front door
This was my front door for seven years...
Day 23: Feeling
How I feel about Duck Dynasty being back with new episodes!
Day 24: First
My first pet, Elvira. Yes, she was named after the Oak Ridge Boys song.
Day 25: Fact
This is how I feel about camping-FACT. What can I say, I'm a city girl! :)
Day 26: Fast
Fast and Furious. I love these movies! :)
Day 27: Free time
I love to read. Could I please have this library at my house?
Day 28: Frivolous
I honestly didn't know what to use, so I just picked this picture.
We are almost to the weekend my friends (can I get another amen?) Stay strong!

XOXO!!
