What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Welcome to the new bloggers we had join us last week! I enjoyed reading your posts. Don't forget to link up below!! :)

I'm loving...

That my folks finally made it to a Rangers game this season (they weren't able to make it last year due to health issues). They wore the shirts that I made them a few years ago and they were quite a hit. Fox Sports Southwest even interviewed them for their Facebook Live segment! :)

They also made the FSS Instagram page!

I'm loving...

Text conversations with my BFF Mandy. We pretty much text everyday. I love our conversations, some of them make me laugh so hard. We are hilarious- we need our own show. :)

I'm loving...

Bobbleheads. I got a Colby Lewis bobblehead at the Rangers game last Saturday night. Unfortunately the pitcher Colby did not have a great game (although most of the runs that scored were unearned).

I'm loving...

When I get to see friends at Rangers games. Sometimes we plan to meet up and sometimes we just run into each other. I love my Rangers family!

I'm loving...

That Norma's Cafe notices I'm at a location before I even check in. I'm possibly a regular there! :)

I'm loving...

Taco Tuesday! Yesterday was National Taco Day- I usually make fun of these random "national days", but this one I could support. Taco Cabana was giving out free tacos from 5pm-8pm yesterday. I had to stop by!

What are YOU loving today?

Mobile Monday

Current pictures on my phone...

Last week I had to go see the nurse practitioner at work for my sinus infection. This is me killing time in the waiting room.
I know someone who had dental work done last week. I obviously have no sympathy. Lol.
This was recently installed in the third floor break room at my office. My diet is officially over. Lol.
I should never be trusted in a bookstore. I went in to buy ONE book. I walked out with four.
So Saturday night I was in bed and all sorts of comfy (watching Netflix on my laptop) when a friend called and told me he was at a party near my house. After a little guilt trip (possibly some bribing), I agreed to make an appearance. I ended up with a hat to wear while I was there. Lol. I had fun though, I'm glad I went.
If you live up north, don't read this. Yesterday was a beautiful 72 degree day in the Metroplex, so I sat outside by my pool and read for a while.
I love Gobstoppers. I will eat this whole bag in two days if I'm not careful. I gotta pace myself. Lol.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

XOXO!

It's OK....

It's OK...

...that probably over half of the text conversations with my BFF are either Supernatural related, or somehow end up with us talking about Supernatural. We are NOT obsessed, I promise.

...that I'm going to skip my workout tonight, pick up some take out from Pei Wei, and rent a movie from RedBox. I have a free rental code that expires tonight, so I want to take advantage of it. I also am starving (because I missed lunch) and Pei Wei sounds amazing right now.

...that I wanted to throw a chair during a meeting at work today. I didn't, but I really wanted to. Sometimes I'm glad that I can control the raging spirit that dwells within me. (Bonus points if you caught The Incredible Hulk reference there).

...that I got a text from a guy friend today that literally made me do this (no need to discuss what the text said). And yes, I sent him this picture. I might send this to him from now on instead of putting #facepalm. Lol.

...that I'm not all that excited about the Super Bowl this year. I've been invited to several watching parties, but I just don't want to go (sorry friends, I still love you!) I'll probably watch the game, but I'm just gonna stay at home by myself and watch it in my PJs. That sounds so much better than putting on real clothes and socializing with people (how horrible does that sound?) Lol.

Happy Thursday my friends!

XOXO!!

It's OK Thursday...

It's OK...

...that it's less than two hours until the second Christmas luncheon of my work week, and I don't feel like working.

...that I'm so annoyed with this person calling me that I'm posting their number on my blog. I have no clue who it is. They don't leave a message. I did Google the number and evidently it's some telemarketer. So much for being on the Do Not Call List.

...that I am hoping for a Christmas miracle and the Rangers sign someone good. After losing Michael Young and Mike Napoli, as well as not signing one of the big name free agents, I'm slowly slipping into panic mode. In JD we trust, In JD we trust...

...that I haven't really done any Christmas shopping yet.

...that I'm excited Kliff Kingsbury is the new football coach at Texas Tech. There is a good chance my nephew Jake might play for the Red Raiders next year. I know he's excited about the new coach (well, his older brother is at least). Wreck 'Em!

Coach Kingsbury
...that I enjoy having long text message conversations.

...that I really want these rain boots. I've never had a pair before, but I would totally wear these. Possibly even if it wasn't raining.
I know I'm going to break down and get them, I hope they are still available at the MLB Shop.
...that I'm posting a random picture of myself on my blog today because SOMEONE pouted that I didn't post one yesterday. ;) Yes, I know, another duck lip picture. I do that a lot in pictures, don't I?

How you doing?
...that I think you need to listen to my friend James David Carter's version of Winter Wonderland. It's awesome! Follow him on Twitter here. Oh and tell him he needs to come to Dallas for a concert! :)

...that I can't remember the last time I updated my blog four days in a row!

XOXO!!
