It's OK...

It's OK...

...that I redesigned my blog, but I'm not sure how I like it. We'll see if it grow on me. Any thoughts? Suggestions? I'm too cheap lazy to pay someone to do it, so I can only use what Blogger provides. I may or may not have worked on this during my lunch break so I was a little rushed.

...that I keep forgetting to tell people I'm now on Bloglovin'. Hey y'all, I'm now on Bloglovin'. Click here for my page.

...that I did some heavy duty stalking investigating to find out who the guy was on the "It's Not Complicated" AT&T commercials. Those are the ones that have the guy talking to the little kids. I love those commercials. I read an article that they have scripts, but most of the time, the kids come up with better stuff, so they use those in the commercials. If you haven't seen any, check out the videos below.

...that I'm gonna have to buy a new adapter for my laptop.
Yeah, this adapter has seen better days...
...that I NEVER knew this. Man, third grade math would have been so much simpler if I had. Actually, third grade was probably the last time I was any good in math! ;)

...that Ryan Gosling is taking a break from acting. My freezer is stocked up with ice cream to help me get through this time.

...that ever since my incident, I can't watch Criminal Minds at night. I record it and watch it later during the day. Don't judge.

...to be not so patiently waiting for my Amazon gift card that I ordered last week (courtesy of my company, I got it for my five year anniversary). I already have stuff waiting in my Amazon shopping cart, ready to purchase as soon as the gift card arrives!

...that I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas when it comes to Opening Day. 10 more days people, 10 more days!!

...that sometimes a phone call from my best friend is all I need to feel better.

Happy Thursday! For more It's OK posts, click here!

Super Bowl Commercials

First of all, congratulations to the Green Bay Packers and their biggest fan in the state of Texas, my nephew James, on the Super Bowl win last night. I think somewhere in Lubbock my nephew was having a "sports cry". No, we don't know why he's a Packers fan, but I'll give him credit, he's been a Packers fan since he was about 5 years old (he's 20 now). The last time they won the Super Bowl he was 7.

Me and my nephew James at his first NFL game in 2007 (outside the old Texas Stadium). Yes, he really wore that cheesehead the whole time!
I know a lot of my readers are not as big into sports as I am, but, even my friends who hate sports enjoy the commercials during the Super Bowl. I thought I would post some of my favorite ones from last night.

Volkswagen Using "the Force":
(yes, I posted this one last Friday, but it is still great. And it was my favorite one of the night!) Go here to read an article and see a video about the kid who played Darth Vader!

Best Buy Bieber Fever:
(this made me laugh. Gotta give Justin Bieber "props" for making fun of himself!)

Doritos Pug Attack:
(what can I say, I love pugs!!) :)

Bridgestone Carma:

Fast and Furious 5 Trailer:
(okay, it's not a "real" Super Bowl commercial, but I did enjoy this one! Um...Paul Walker and Vin Diesel back together again. It never gets old!) ;) I'm already planning a Girls Night Out to see that movie in April! Who wants to come along? :)

I also wanted to post a few of my favorite Super Bowl commercials from over the past few years.

Streaker:

Etrade Baby:
(I love these commercials!)

YouTube

I have a confession. I have wasted HOURS of my life in front of my computer watching videos on YouTube. You can find practically anything on YouTube. If you miss Rascal Flatts performance on Letterman- that's okay, it's on YouTube within hours of airing. Want to see the adorable Jim Parsons from TBBT on Craig Ferguson? YouTube.  Want to learn the dance steps to Michael Jackson's Thriller video? YouTube. Want to settle a 2 hour argument with co-workers about a M&M commercial that aired in the 80s that involved little league baseball? Again, YouTube (and yes, I'm proud to say I won that argument. No one believed this commercial existed, I proved them wrong. How sad that I not only participated in that argument, but I'm proud of it.)

From commercials to TV shows to even full length movies, YouTube has it all.

It's late, and really I have no point to this post other than to share some of my favorite YouTube links. Enjoy!

Anjelah Johnson's Nail Salon comedy skit (for anyone who has ever gotten their nails done, this is hysterical!!)

Charlie Bit Me (I just think the little baby, Charlie, is so adorable). Why someone would film their kids biting each other, I'll never know. But hey, it's entertainment.

David Robinson's Basketball Hall of Fame Speech (I love the Admiral! I love how he ends his speech with scripture!)

For those wanting a good cry, video of Lou Gehrig's farewell speech:
