What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving...
That my friend Mel bought a copy of To Kill A Mockingbird and sent it off to the author, Harper Lee, for her to autograph. She sent it off in February and just got it back a few weeks ago (this was a late birthday present for me). I LOVE it. This is my all time favorite book. :)

I'm loving...
That I got to see Dobby last weekend. I hadn't seen him since I dog-sat for him over Labor Day. I joke with my friend Chance that I only remain friends with him because it gives me visitation rights to Dobby. I'm only kidding (most of the time). ;)
He was so excited to see me. It took him about 30 minutes to calm down so I could get a non blurry picture. Lol.
I'm loving...
That I got to see the baseball exhibit at the George W. Bush Presidential Library last weekend. It's only there through this weekend. It was AMAZING! If you live in Dallas and have time this weekend, GO CHECK IT OUT!

I've been to the library once before (so it wasn't a new one to add to my list,) but I enjoyed seeing it again.
My first order of business as president would be to make MLB Opening Day a National Holiday. :)

They seem so much shorter on TV
I'm loving...
The friends that I have made through Twitter. Last week a group of my "Rangers" Twitter friends met up for lunch (although a few of them are already "real life friends", but we originally met on Twitter). I even have made Twitter friends with two of my favorite authors. I love the conversations we have online! :)

Check out these two- Allison Brennan and Roxanne St. Claire- they are both GREAT authors!! :) And they are great Twitter follows!

I'm loving...
This idea for a book party (can I be any bigger of a nerd wanting to have a book party?) Lol. Everyone brings a book wrapped up, with only a brief recap of the book written on the wrapping paper. That way the book isn't judged by its cover, or by the name. :)

I'm loving...
That my friend Eric invited me to the Cowboys game this past weekend. I'm sad the Cowboys couldn't hold on to a win, but hey- a free Cowboys ticket is always nice! :) And we had amazing seats! And the company was great! :)

What are YOU loving today? Link up below!!

XOXO!

  1. That is an amazing gift that your friend got you! Wow! Awesome! I wish I would have known about the baseball exhibit when I was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago, that would have been something to see. Dang it!
