What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving...

That modern technology allows my BFF to "go shopping" with me even though she's hundreds of miles away. I texted her on my shopping trip last weekend to get her opinion on some outfits.

I was concerned these shorts were too short. After wearing them the other day, I think I was right!
I actually asked some friends on Twitter about this outfit as well. I wanted to make sure the pants and top went well together (I have no sense of style). Lol

I'm loving...

That I saw my second musical in a month! I saw Ragtime with my friends Aaron and Mel last weekend. We plan to see another musical in June!

The three amigos!

Dallas Summer Musicals at Fair Park. As you can tell, I bought the outfit pictured above. Lol
Aaron bought me this bobblehead and shot glass for my birthday. My nickname is Wonder Woman, so she's obviously one of my favorite superheroes. :)

I'm loving...

That I drove 200 miles to get a Nolan Ryan bobblehead. I could lie and say I just wanted to see a minor league baseball game, but y'all know me too well. I went to Round Rock on Saturday to see an Express baseball game (the Rangers AAA team). I stopped in Waco and picked up my Bubba and his family (minus his oldest son who had to work). I always love seeing a game with my Bubba (he's the reason I love baseball). :)

Gates opened at 5:30. This was the line to get in by 5:10. By the time the gates opened, the line went around the parking lot. I wasn't the only one who wanted a bobblehead!
The newest addition to my bobblehead collection. And yes, Whataburger sponsored the giveaway (this bobblehead was made for me). :)
On the wall at Dell Diamond
I've been to several minor league ballparks and Dell Diamond is one of the nicest
Our view for the game. We paid close attention since there was no net in front of us
My sweet nephew A. I think he had a lot of fun.
Me and my Bubba (and A photobombing us)
My beautiful niece Ashlyn
I love the shoes my friends got me for my birthday. I sent this snap out after the game was over on Saturday (shameless plug, I'm averyfan on Snapchat if you want to follow me)

I'm loving...

That I got to hang out with my friends Laura and Rich on Monday. They live in Oklahoma so I don't see them as often as I would like. Their boys C and O are ADORABLE!!

I wanted to put O in my purse so I could take him home with me, but I figured they would notice he was missing
I hadn't seen C in so long, he's gotten so big!
Me and Rich- he is a top-notch friend
We spent the day at Laura's folks house lounging by the pool
My beautiful friend Laura!
This is C's new puppy. I also wanted to put her in my purse and take her home with me. She was so cuddly!!
I'm loving...

That Yu Darvish is back with the Rangers. He had surgery last year that kept him out all season and part of this season. He pitched on Saturday and did an amazing job. I hope to see him pitch in person on Friday at the Ballpark!

I'm loving...

That I have TWO trips planned for this summer (so far). I'm so excited!

What are YOU loving?? Comment below! :)

XOXO!

Thursday 13: My Recent Top Tweets

Thirteen tweets that you have missed if you don't follow me on Twitter (yes, shameless plug, follow me on Twitter here.)

1.
I didn't sleep well that night. Lol

2.
Some friends and I were watching the Rangers game together when the Odor/Bautista fight broke out. If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch it here on YouTube. My friend Corina and I got a little passionate during the fight. We were possibly cheering Odor on. Lol

3.
Odor became a Rangers legend that day
4
This was rude...and I apologize to 5th grade girls everywhere for comparing them to how the Blue Jays fight. ;)

5.
Rangers fans were not happy that this one Blue Jays player didn't get any sort of punishment for his part in the fight. I took my frustrations out on his hair. But come on, seriously, who thinks that looks good?

6.
I love my friends with all my heart so it hurts me so much to know there is nothing I can do to help them when they are making poor life decisions

7.
I'm not lying, this was the creepiest hotel I've ever stayed at. Since all Lubbock hotels were booked because of Texas Tech graduation, we had no choice but to stay. See pictures below. I'm so leaving a horrible review on Yelp.
We discovered the next morning that there was blood on the lampshade. BLOOD!
I don't even want to know how it got there
My sister's room was horrible. She told them it hadn't been cleaned and the front office assured her it had and got a little snippy with her. She noticed this behind the door. They just swept the dirt into a line and LEFT IT THERE.

8.
Yes, I know, my bangs. And eyebrows. Don't even mention them.

9.
My bestie sent out this tweet on my birthday. Love him so much. Or maybe I just love his dog Dobby. I'm kidding of course, although I'm pretty sure I love Dobby more. ;)

10.
One of my followers sent a tweet to the Rangers telling them I wanted a hug. I didn't get a hug, but I got this tweet.

11.
Don't get between this girl and her taquitos

12.
My friend Glenn took me to the Rangers game for my birthday and decided to do a live Facebook video of our drive. I'm not a fan of being on video, but I humored him. Yes, I look VERY uncomfortable in the video. And I realized I say "awesome" A LOT. Next time I won't be chewing gum when I do a video (so gross, sorry about that). It's too long to post here, but here are quick highlights. I got excited when Six Flags was open because I have a season pass and can park there for free when I go to a Rangers game (as long as the park is open). :)

13.
He's a bullpen pitcher for the Rangers. He used to be our closer, but he hasn't been doing too well lately. Twitter freaks out whenever he's in the game and gives up a run.

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving...

All the love I received on Monday for my birthday. Thank you to everyone who sent me messages on Facebook, Twitter, or by text. You helped make my day wonderful!

I'm loving...

That I got to see a friend of mine on my birthday who I hadn't seen in over six months. We had fun at the game (despite the loss) and I ran into some other friends while I was there (birthday hugs all around!)

I'm loving...

That I was able to be at my nephews' graduations at Texas Tech last weekend. I went to Lubbock last weekend to see my nephew Jake get his undergraduate degree and to see his brother James receive his law degree. It was a VERY proud aunt moment. :) It was also a VERY long drive, but worth it!

My sweet boys at their graduation party Friday night. They loved the Rangers/Texas Tech caps that I gave them!
Graduation day! Such a proud aunt!
I'm so proud of my nephew Jake. He worked hard and completed college in three years!

Somehow this sweet little baby (okay, he was never little, he weighed 11lb, 4oz at birth) is now a law school graduate! Where does the time go? And yes, I'm rocking a NKOTB shirt. I still would wear it if I had it. :)
I love this picture of my dad and my nephew after the ceremony. James is named after my dad's father. My dad told him how proud his great-grandfather would have been to hear his name being called out

My folks have attended 37 graduations (high school and college) just between all their kids and grandkids alone. They still have more grandkids to graduate (and great-grandkids).
I drove 733 miles in a span of 48 hours to go see my sweet boys! Totally worth it though! I had audio books and Dr Pepper to keep me company!

I'm loving...

That I got to help out my neighbor yesterday and watch her dog, Holly, for a few hours while she dealt with an emergency (everything is okay with my neighbor, by the way). :) Holly and I had fun at the dog park!

I'm loving...

When I'm able to meet up with a Twitter peep. My Twitter friend Kari was at the game on Monday and stopped by to bring me a birthday beverage.

I'm loving...

That even though the Rangers didn't win on my birthday and I didn't get a hug from former Ranger Pudge Rodriguez, Pudge DID send me a birthday greeting on Twitter. :)

What are you loving today?

XOXO!
